Progress monitoring is assessment conducted on a regular basis that keeps the teacher informed about the student’s progress. Tools used for progress monitoring provide a quick sample of critical skills designed to tell the teacher whether the child is making adequate progress in order to achieve grade level performance by the end of the year.
