2017 AP Exams
Niwot High School students must register online for 2017 AP exams. Online Exam registration will begin on Wed, Feb 22, 2017 at 3:00 PM and will end on Wednesday, Mar 15, 2017 at 3:00 PM. In order to register, students should click on the link provided on the NHS website or visit www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/060937 to register. Students are required to also register for one of the three pre-administration sessions offered on Monday, April 24, 2017.
We realize that parents may desire to register their students for exams. We strongly recommend that parents and students are both present while registering online to ensure that the correct exams are ordered.
Niwot High School is excited to offer families the convenience of paying exam fees online at the time of registration. Please be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration. If you wish to pay by cash or check, print two copies of the confirmation page, one for your records and the other to return to school with your payment. Your payment and confirmation must be returned to Sarah Hollingsworth in the Counseling Office by 3:00 pm, Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Your registration is not complete until payment is made. The cost of each exam is $93.00. Students with financial need should see counselor Sarah Davis in the Counseling Office.

Wednesday, March 15, 2017 after 3:00 PM – Begin late registration fee of $10 per exam
Wednesday, March 22, 2017 by 3:00 PM – Last day to cancel an exam with a full refund
Friday, April 7, 2017 – Begin late registration fee of $55.00 per exam
Monday, April 24, 2017 – Required pre-administration session at NHS
Friday, May 12, 2017 – Last day to cancel an exam (A cancellation fee of $15.00 will be charged)
NHS 2017-2018 AP Course Applications
In order to be enrolled in an AP course, you must meet the course pre-requisites, complete a separate application (if required), or be recommended by a teacher. All additional applications must be completed by your review session with your counselor. Applications will NOT be accepted after February 7, 2017.
Additionally, most AP courses require summer homework. If you are not notified that you did NOT get accepted into an AP course, then you are expected to do the summer homework assignment that will be posted in June.
