PSAT/NMSQT

Dear Students and Parents,

The PSAT/NMSQT is approaching fast! The LAST OPPORTUNITY to register for the test is Friday, 10/6 at 3 PM!

The PSAT/NMSQT is an optional practice SAT test for juniors and sophomores. This is the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test for juniors. All students that take the PSAT/NMSQT get a personalized study plan based on their results from the College Board (PSAT’s testing agency). For more information about the benefits of taking the PSAT/NMSQT, click HERE

The cost of the exam is $25. Students that qualify for free or reduced lunch can request a reduced exam fee when they register.

The PSAT/NMSQT will be held in the Large Gym at Niwot High School on Wednesday, October 11th, 2017. The test begins at 7:30 AM and ends at approximately 12:00 PM. Students should report to the Large Gym no later than 7:20 AM. No cell phones are allowed. Only approved calculators are allowed (see links below for a list of what to bring).  Students are required to bring a photo ID.

For any classes missed due to the test, students will be marked absent excused. Students are responsible for making up assignments missed in class.

Students must click HERE to register. Once registration is complete, students paying at school will need to print a copy of the confirmation page and return it with payment attached to Mrs. Sarah Hollingsworth in Counseling. Please make checks payable to Niwot High School.

Registrations that are not paid by Friday, October 6th will be cancelled.

Registrations completed after Monday, October 2nd will incur a $5.00 late fee.

Niwot High School is excited to offer families the convenience of paying exam fees online at the time of registration. Please be sure to have a debit or credit card available before beginning registration.
