What is Progress Monitoring?
Progress monitoring is a scientifically-based practice used to assess students’ academic/behvaior performance and evaluate the effectiveness of instruction/intervention. Progress monitoring can be implemented with individual students or an entire class. It is formative (during instruction), uses a variety of data collection methods and is on-going and systematic.
