We had a good turnout for the brainstorming session at Columbine. Either Mike, Brad and Adam feel more comfortable with the day or they’re all three going to call in sick when their day comes 🙂
There were several talking points that I checked on and below are some next steps.
1). Polo shirts–A good point was raised that the “newbies” don’t have any polos to wear for this year’s event. After speaking with Rob, he gave me the name/number of the owner of The Playoff and I’ll be meeting with him tomorrow to get an idea of the cost for an embroidered polo. I’ll be bringing the info to our next mtg. (4/4 @ 4 p.m. @ Columbine) so people can weigh in on color and whether or not they’re interested in a new shirt for this year.
2). Timeline leading up to the big days–After reviewing the schedule, multiple people expressed interest in adjusting the timeline. Here’s the revised timeline (so please discard the earlier one viewed in Rob’s 5th GFD packet).
4/4–Confirm school assignments, events, etc.. (Mtg. in person at Columbine Elem.)
4/27–Exchange entry lists by email (include day and date)
5/4–Completed heat sheets. Exchange by email compiled heat sheets.
With so much of the sign-ups/changes, etc.. technology driven, there was feeling that the additional time would be beneficial.
See you all on April 4th @ 4!
