College Visits

The Mead High School Counseling Department hosts over 50 visits annually from colleges and universities from throughout the country and across the globe!  College Visits are held in the Main Office Conference Room next to the Counseling Office and are an excellent opportunity to meet face-to-face with college admissions representatives.  It is highly suggested that students research colleges thoroughly before attending visits, as to make the most out of the visit!

While attending college visits is highly recommended for juniors and seniors, any student may attend.

We recommend that students attend visits that are least impactful to their schedule. It is the student’s responsibility to arrange for permission from their teacher to attend a visit, PRIOR to the visit.  Passes for returning to class will be given to students only by Counseling Office staff.

College Admissions Representatives:

Welcome to Mead High School!  Please feel free to review the SVVSD Calendar, and email Calan Anderson ( with a suggested date, and a time between the hours of 7:30 am and 2:00 pm.  We look forward to your visit!

The Mead High Counseling Department hosts Colorado and regional colleges and universities for an evening college fair, complete with breakout sessions on important college topics.  This year we will host a College & Career Night on March 24th, 2016 5:30-7:30pm.
