What is the ICAP?
The purpose of the ICAP is to assist students and their parents / legal guardians in exploring the post-secondary career and educational opportunities available to the student, aligning course work and curriculum, applying to post-secondary education institutions, securing financial aid and ultimately entering the workforce.
This year, 9th and 10th grade students, ICAP instruction may be delivered during registration or combined with regular classroom curriculum. For 11th grade students, ICAP instruction will be delivered in Social Studies classroom and during registration. For 12th grade, counselors incorporate ICAPs into Senior English Classroom and/or Individual Meetings at the beginning of the year.
