Concurrent Enrollment is a tremendous opportunity and provides access to academic courses that may not be available at Niwot High School. In the St. Vrain Valley School District (SVVSD), students who are enrolled in 11th or 12th grade who demonstrate academic preparedness are eligible for the Concurrent Enrollment Program. Students interested in concurrent enrollment should attend a meeting during the semester prior to the one in which they’d like to take college courses. Information and links will be posted after each semester’s meetings.
The meeting for students wishing to take Concurrent Enrollment classes during the Spring 2018 Semester will be held in the IMC on Thursday, October 26, 2017, 2:45-3:45pm in Room 135 (Mrs. Roberts’ Room)
Students must meet with their School Counselors before Friday, November 3, 2017, to review their ICAP, CiC Checklist and course choices. AFTER this meeting and approval, students may apply online for SVVSD course approval.
The SVVSD Concurrent Enrollment online application is due on November 10, 2017. Students will receive approval/denial decisions by November 17, 2017. Students should review all information and should refer to the specific college checklists for application and registration information and deadlines.
