The Boettcher Foundation Scholarship application is now open to all students, regardless of their academic background.
Since 1952, the Boettcher Foundation has awarded nearly $60 million in undergraduate scholarships to many of Colorado’s best and brightest students. The merit-based awards provide what is essentially a full-ride to any 4-year institution in Colorado.
The Boettcher Foundation Scholarship is extremely competitive and has a rigorous application process. The application deadline is October 24th so time is of the essence! We encourage all interested seniors to review the Selection and Eligibility Criteria and the Frequently Asked Questions sections on Boettcher Foundation Scholarship website to help determine if you are interested in applying.
There is also a helpful Competitiveness Quiz available to help you in this process:
IMPORTANT: If you are interested in applying for the Boettcher Foundation Scholarship, you MUST request to be invited by your specific Counselor. To do this, please email or see them in person and be able to provide your full name and personal email address. This will be the method by which you are contacted by the Boettcher Foundation. Your email will not be used for any other reason.
We will be hosting the Day/Night College Fair at Silver Creek on Thursday October 17th from 6:00-7:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity for parents and students to speak with several college representatives all in one place. Participating colleges are listed here, along with more info.
Tutoring Club of Longmont offers free ACT/SAT tests once a month to benefit High Schools in Saint Vrain Valley School District. These tests are an excellent opportunity for students to experience a full-length ACT or SAT test in a relaxed environment without the fear of this score going on a college transcript. Each student’s score and full analysis of the strengths and weaknesses indicated by the test will be available 3 days following the practice test. There is no pressure to sign up for our program and students are only presented with how the program could help them.
Tutoring Club of Longmont is conveniently located on the diagonal of Ken Pratt and Nelson. All tests are scheduled on Saturdays and start promptly at 9:00 a.m. If a student would like to take one of these tests, he/she can email Longmontco@tutoringclub.com.
