VIP spots can be reserved by submitting the parking form to the main office with payment ($20 cash only). Parking forms will be time stamped and dated by the front office and applicants will receive a receipt and VIP card # indicating the spot reserved for their family. Parking forms can be picked up in the office or downloaded from the weekly blog under graduation. These spots will only be sold at a first come first serve basis and there is only one spot available per family. Depending on the number of requests we receive, more spots may be available and applicants will be put on a waiting list. Parking spots will be given away if the reserved party has not shown up by 9:30 a.m. on graduation day. Handicapped parking spots will be available, in addition to VIP spaces, for individuals having a handicapped placard so there is no need to reserve a spot if your family will be using the handicapped space. RABC is accepting nominations for Board Members, especially for Vice President & Secretary. All nominations need to be turned in to Kaydene Hubert by email, email@example.com or by phone, 303-845-2290 by April 25th. Board Members will be voted in at the April meeting on Monday April 28th at 6:30pm in the Library. RABC is a wonderful group of parents who volunteer their time & ideas to make this community a great place for our kids.
Along with Board Members we are in need of a Concession Committee and/or Leader to run concessions for the upcoming school year. This is a fun way to meet people & to earn money for your child’s activity. Training is available, and the program is open to new ideas! Please contact Kaydene Hubert at the phone/email above or firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested.

Important Bus Pass Information for Parents of Students Riding the Bus
As we near the end of the 2013-14 school year, I would like to thank you for encouraging your student/s to show up with their bus pass each and every day this past school year. Doing so has provided our students with a greater level of safety and security. As explained during initial roll out and distribution, students only receive one free bus pass. Therefore, your student’s’ bus passes must be safely stored over the summer months until the start of the new school year to avoid the cost of a replacement.
Should your student require a replacement pass, please contact the Bus Pass coordinator by sending an email to email@example.com or calling 303-702-7540. The replacement cost for lost, stolen and/or mutilated bus passes is $5.00 and shows up as fee under your student’s name in Infinite Campus.

Hosting an Exchange Student
Host families are needed to open their heart and home to some great teens from around the world for the 2014-2015 school year. Hosting enriches the lives of families, students and entire communities. The teens are between the ages of 15 and 18, speak English, have their own medical insurance, and bring their own spending money for school lunches, everyday expenses, entertainment etc. Mostly, they have a lot of love to give their American family! A volunteer host family provides a room (which may be shared), meals in the home and a caring environment for their student. Students attend your local public high school while on program. There is no such thing as a typical host family! Single-parent families, retired couples, families with young children, no children, as well as those with teenagers or empty-nesters have all had successful hosting experiences and embrace the opportunity to share their lives.
AP Testing –If students missed Friday’s AP Pre-Administration meeting, they need to come to one of the make up sessions on Thursday, May 1st either at 1pm, 2pm, or 3pm. Location is the St Vrain Learning Service Center.
All AP testers, please make sure your AP test balances are paid. See Mr. Tonjes with any questions.
Tutoring Club of Longmont offers free ACT/SAT tests once a month to benefit high schools in the Saint Vrain Valley School District. These tests are an excellent opportunity for students to experience a full-length ACT or SAT test in a relaxed environment without the fear of this score going on a college transcript. Each student’s score and full analysis of the strengths and weaknesses indicated by the test will be available 3 days following the practice test. There is no pressure to sign up for our program, and students are only presented with how the program could help them.
Tutoring Club of Longmont is conveniently located on the diagonal of Ken Pratt and Nelson. All tests are scheduled on Saturdays and start promptly at 9:00 a.m. If a student would like to take one of these tests, he/she can email Longmontco@tutoringclub.com.
For more information please call (303) 651-0800.
