Raptor Activities Booster Club end of the year wrap up…

On April 27, 2015, we had our last Booster Club Meeting of the school year.  It was a great meeting!  At this meeting we thanked all of our awesome parent reps & said goodbye to the parents of seniors who will no longer be with us in the Booster Club.  We thanked Joan Foster for her 2 years of service as Secretary, she will be missed in that position, but she has volunteered to head up a committee so we are thankful for that!  We also voted in our new Board Members.  We want to welcome Suzanne Zens as our Secretary & Mindy Grabau as our Vice President!  Thank you ladies for stepping into those positions, you both will be a great addition!  We did not have anyone formally on the ballot for President, it was then voted on & approved that I would stay on as President along with Michelle Wright coming on as Co-President.  I am very excited about sharing this position with Michelle, she will be awesome!  Thank you Michelle for stepping in there when you thought you were off the hook 🙂

We have lots of great stuff already in the works for next year & hope to see many new faces joining us!  New Membership Brochures will be out soon with an incentive this year for teams to get more families involved.  We also want to give you a heads up on the next Dancing with the Silver Creek Stars, we are planning to hold this great event in the Fall!  Start thinking about your silent auction items this summer & pick up those deals when you see them.  If you want to nominate any SC Staff member to be a dancer, please let me know.

After Prom went very well & was attended by 327 students!!  Huge thank you to EVERYONE who had a part in it.  Every team/activity came through with doing their part and it was great!  We still will be looking into a few things that worked & what needs to be adjusted, if you want to join the After Prom Committee that we will be putting in place, please contact any of the Board Members.  We were very excited to award 10 $500 scholarships at this years After Prom!  Congratulations to our Junior winners, Taylor Stinson & Gabby Blink and to our Senior winners, Jessica Evely, Sidney Wach, Lauren Martin, Ashley Martin, Amelia Repp, Bronson Thomas, Sonja Hartmann, & Preston Bickler!!

RABC is still looking for help running concessions for the upcoming school year.  Please contact Kaydene Hubert if you are interested.  We have several positions open.  All positions earn money for their team/activity.  The CEO position gets a percentage of the profits to put towards the activity or team of their choice.  We need these positions filled as soon as possible, it is fun and a great way to meet lots of people.

Wall of Senior posters

Today the “Wall of Seniors” will be posted in F wing.  All seniors will have a poster on the windows for everyone to enjoy.  This has been a huge undertaking and we have tried our best to capture the name of every senior, add any comments emailed to us by their parents, and obtain a picture of all of them to the best of our ability.  If we have by chance missed anyone, made a mistake on a comment or name, or if you have a picture you wish to now submit that does not have one, please email us and we will be happy to have another poster printed for you as a souvenir by graduation.

Seniors- These posters are yours to keep.  We have had several requests to have the posters for graduation parties, etc. If you would like to take them down the last week of school, please feel free to do so.

We hope you enjoy them and want to wish all of our graduating seniors the best of luck in their future endeavors.
