Notice: CDC & IC (Innovation Center) registration window is December 14 – January 28.
Most all other Special Program and Application class registration window is: January 16-30.
Teachers will recommend your core classes (English, Science, Social Studies, and Math) in January, so be sure that you are having those conversations with your teachers now.

The Silver Creek Leadership Academy Class of 2018 invites you to join them for their Capstone Project Expo. This event showcases the projects and gives you a chance to meet the students and hear about their individual project. This open house style event is Monday, Dec. 11th 7-8:30pm at SCHS in the commons. It is free and open to the public.

Pacific Northwest College Tour: SCHS has partnered with EF Tours to offer a summer college tour of 8 universities in Oregon and Washington. The tour will be June 3-7, 2018, and includes: airfare, transportation, hotel, all meals and gratuities, guided tours and illness/accident coverage. This all-inclusive tour cost is $2,334. For details and a list of schools, check out the tour brochure. An informational meeting will be held in the SCHS IMC/Library on Tues., Dec. 12, at 5:30 p.m.

In order to tryout or practice for Silver Creek Athletics, the following items must be completed:
Complete the Online Registration Form.
Submit the SVVSD Student Medical History and Screening form (or a similar Doctor’s office form) with an authorized physician’s signature clearing the student for athletic participation. Physicals are valid for one full year (365 days from date of last physical). Please make sure your form has the following: Dr.s signature and date of physical.
In order to submit your completed physical form please bring to the Athletic Secretary or scan and email a copy to Yvonne Elder (email@example.com) or fax to (720-494-3730).
Pay the SVVSD Athletic Participation Fee $150 – Pay by credit card at the time of online registration or bring a check/cash into the main office. Please make checks payable to Silver Creek HS.
Dancing with the Silver Creek Stars was not only a blast, but also a hugely successful fundraiser. We raised over $15,000 to benefit our programs (sports and SCLA) and provide scholarships for Silver Creek students. You and our sponsors totally rock!!
RABC wants to increase STUDENT attendance at all of our Winter Sports events, but especially at girls’ basketball, wrestling, and swimming. We are going to give away beads, pom-poms, “we’re number one” foam fingers, etc., at select games/meets. Collect them all and come out to our last featured event and you will have a chance to win some cool Silver Creek merchandise or gift cards. Stay tuned for dates and times for these giveaways!
The biggest source of revenue for RABC is CONCESSIONS. We need Concessions Managers to open and close the booth. We cannot run Concessions unless there is a Manager. If you can help, please contact

Math Club meets Thursdays from 2:40pm – 3:40pm in Room E206. We are currently in our Math Madness competition season.

Naviance is an excellent tool that provides students with many opportunities to make a successful transition between high school, college and career. Please take advantage of the options to prepay your student’s meal accounts. Prepaid meal accounts help the lunch lines go faster and give students more time to eat, relax, and play. It also gives you peace of mind — not having to worry about looking for lunch money every day or having to worry that it might get lost or used for things other than lunch.
Meal Charging Guidelines – It is very important to keep you child’s account current. If you have any questions about the account, please call your child’s school kitchen manager.

Send Check or Cash
You can always bring money personally or send it with your student. Please place it in an envelope marked clearly with your student’s name, their ID #, the $ amount and the check #. Turn in prepaid deposits to the cafeteria cashier(s) or school office.

IMPORTANT BUS INFORMATION
Attached you will find a MS Word Document that reiterates to parents that student bus passes are required to be stored and kept in a safe place over the summer to avoid their loss, and the subsequent cost of a replacement pass. In addition, the letter also talks about the implementation of Zpass+, a notification system which sends time and location messages via phone text to parents when their student scans on and off the bus. This is a great program that provides another level of safety and security for the students of SVVSD. Parents are truly going to love this new functionality. The system is currently active and ready for parents to sign up for an account and begin receiving these valuable text notifications.
Z Pass+ information – In an effort to better serve you, we are implementing a program called Z Pass+ this year. This free program will allow parents to receive text and/or email notifications via their smart phone whenever their student scans on or off the bus. This technology is invaluable, and provides an additional layer of safety and security for District students utilizing transportation services. The following link has directions on how to sign up.

Important Bus Pass Information for Parents of Students Riding the Bus
Students only receive one free bus pass. For a replacement pass, please contact the Bus Pass coordinator by sending an email to bus email@example.com or calling 303-702-7540. The replacement cost for lost, stolen and/or mutilated bus passes is $5.00 and shows up as fee under your student’s name in Infinite Campus. New students to the district or new to riding the bus may pick up their bus passes at the Main Office of the school they will be attending.
