Hot off the press! Silver Creek students, faculty and staff will receive 50% off the registration fee for the Raptor Run AND a t-shirt. Ask for the code at the office. Register by April 18 at or on race day!

Now for the details. RABC’s second major fundraiser, the Raptor Run, is fast approaching. This fun family event will take place on April 21, 2018 at 9 am in the neighborhoods around Silver Creek. This year’s race is a Bolder Boulder qualifier, and it is great for kids as the course does not cross a single street! If you can’t run or walk this year’s event, please consider donating (see next section).

If you can’t participate in the Raptor Run this year, we get it. But, you can still help raise funds to support teams and kids here at Silver Creek and do some spring cleaning at the same time. If you are anything like me, you have gift cards lying around. Put those unused gift cards to good use! Donate them to RABC for age group prizes for the Raptor Run. Please put them (minimum value $10 to $15, maximum value is up to you) in an envelope, mark “Raptor Run Race Director” on the front, and drop them at the office. Don’t have gift cards lying around, please consider buying a gift card or asking a local business to donate one (again, minimum value $10-$15).

Thanks to all the folks who donated their time and gift cards to make After-Prom a success and to keep our Silver Creek students safe. And, thank you to everyone who turned out to hear Dr. Stephen Walker’s talk. I think we all agree that we learned a lot!

RABC along with SCOPA and the Education Foundation, will be hosting a volunteer appreciation event in early May. Details to come!

We are still in desperate need of Concessions Managers or we will not be able to open the stand for some events. Teams will each lose $175 for their shift if Concessions cannot open. It is really easy, just follow a complete list of instructions. You can even watch most of the games/matches/meets/duals while earning $25 for your team or activity. If you can help, please contact

Approved Flyers for April, 2018

Attached you will find a MS Word Document that reiterates to parents that student bus passes are required to be stored and kept in a safe place over the summer to avoid their loss, and the subsequent cost of a replacement pass.  In addition, the letter also talks about the implementation of Zpass+, a notification system which sends time and location messages via phone text to parents when their student scans on and off the bus. This is a great program that provides another level of safety and security for the students of SVVSD.  Parents are truly going to love this new functionality. The system is currently active and ready for parents to sign up for an account and begin receiving these valuable text notifications.

Z Pass+ information – In an effort to better serve you, we are implementing a program called Z Pass+ this year.  This free program will allow parents to receive text and/or email notifications via their smartphone whenever their student scans on or off the bus.  This technology is invaluable, and provides an additional layer of safety and security for District students utilizing transportation services. The following link has directions on how to sign up.

Please open the following link for more important bus information.
