For those of you who don’t know, Alateen is a program for teens who have family members/friends that abuse alcohol. It’s a support group for teens and there is a Al Anon for adults. For more information check out the web site:
Falcons are you as ready for spring break as I am? I’m chomping at the bit, but the scary thing is once we return from break the end of the school year is just around the corner!
I know, I know. You’re thinking, well, duh Maura. But there will only be seven weeks of classes (including finals) after we return, and there is still so much to do. Juniors will have to register for the ACT; students will have to take AP exams and graduation needs to happen for the Class of 2014.
Don’t forget to work on your credit recovery classes during spring break. Finalize those college decisions and start writing your thank you notes for your scholarships.
Check in with your counselor if you have any questions about your registration materials. The data is getting input as we speak, but that doesn’t mean you can’t speak up.
Be safe Falcons and enjoy the much-needed time off.
