… just wait until you apply for the Skyline Education Foundation scholarship. It’s only for Skyline seniors – that narrows the competition field to just 300 of your peers. The odds are good you could win.

The Colorado School of Mines is hosting an awesome leadership event for young women. Girls Lead the Way is a conference on Saturday, February 7 (7;30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) at Mines. Event registration is $25 and any 9th through 12th grade students are able to attend. You can sign up here. participants will learn about resume writing, engineering practice and ideas etc. The event is sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Professional Section of the Society of Women Engineers.

Bezos Scholars Program

Calling all of my Falcon leaders! If you want to take advantage of an amazing leadership experience then you need to apply for this. The Aspen Ideas Festival (in Aspen Colorado – that’s in our own backyard!) will be the host for 30 students from across the country to meet with global leaders, thinkers and social entrepreneurs (for Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, Twitter co-founder Biz Stone, and columnist David Brooks and more). This is an all-expenses paid scholarship!
