Places to eat in Boulder

When I think of prom, I ask myself: While I’m dancing all night, will there even be any food in my stomach and where will the dance be held? Knowing it’s going to be a four-hour long dance, it’s a good idea to eat at least something before prom, and maybe again after I’ve danced for so long. Given that the place where it will happen is Boulder, Colorado, here’s a list of plenty restaurants prom attendees can go to for a bite to eat before or after prom.

Jamba Juice (not fancy)
Address: Twenty Ninth Street, 1695 29th St #1256, Boulder, CO 80301

It’s not all about eating for me. Personally I wouldn’t want to eat that much knowing that I’m about to dance. Having a full stomach will only make me feel uncomfortable, and if I plan on going to after prom, I might change my mind. I’m a person that doesn’t eat a lot, and if you are like me, you might prefer stopping by Jamba Juice given that they have many combinations of smoothies. It’s a healthy way to go to prom with no problem. Also, if you’re on a rush and are afraid of getting your clothes dirty, this is the safest, healthiest, and sweetest way to get some nutrition before prom.

Efrain’s Mexican Restaurant
1630 63rd St # 10, Boulder, CO 80301

You might not like the fact that you’re going to prom with a smoothie in your stomach; you might want a couple of tacos, quesadillas, or even a burrito. The atmosphere is vary casual at Efrain’s, and the menu has various options to satisfy the stomach before prom. You can count on getting your plate served fast! It’s good way to talk to your prom date, too, before you hit the dance floor.

Foolish Craig’s Coffee
1611 Pearl St, Boulder, CO 80302

You might think it be foolish to put a restaurant with that name but hold on. Looking at the menu and the way the place is decorated. It’s a nice place to go to, you don’t want to miss.

The Buff
2600 Canyon Blvd, Boulder, CO 80302

One of my favorite restaurants to eat at, The Buff has a variety of great foods. The food is always served fresh and the portions are large! I really recommend this place not just because of the food, but also because the service is the best. Who wouldn’t want to go to a place where you get treated awesome?

Flagstaff House (Reservations Required)
1138 Flagstaff Rd, Boulder, CO 80302

This place is just 5 minutes out of Boulder, and the view and the food will make the drive worth it. Flagstaff House overlooks the city from an elevation of 6,000 feet. Just book a table and enjoy a fancy dinner with your date!

The Melting Pot
732 Main St, Louisville, CO 80027

The atmosphere is crazy! If you are looking for a more private feel, ask to be seated upstairs. The meals are delicious and served to share. The prices are on the high side, but you will love this place. Be prepared to dance off all the food you’ll get.

Buffalo Wild Wings
Superior Marketplace, 404 Marshall Rd, Superior, CO 80027

You can’t forget those Wild Wings. We know that they are everyone’s favorites. Don’t be afraid to get those fingers dirty before prom, or just stop by on your way to After Prom. I don’t have to tell you how this place is because I know everyone has been to one. Just be careful and stay clean.

Prom is about feeding our stomach before and after. Food is the key to keep you going all night, especially if you are thinking of going to after prom. So go out and enjoy some delicious plates from these restaurants.
